Shriners Hospitals for Children®—Honolulu is inviting all students 18 years and younger throughout Hawai‘i to submit original, hand-drawn illustrations with an ocean theme for its “Under the Sea” Art Contest. Entries will be accepted Jan. 20 through Feb. 21, 2017.
The overall winner’s artwork will become the inspiration for the design of Shriners' EOS Imaging System—the first in the entire Pacific Basin. The EOS Imaging System is a Nobel Prize-winning technology that produces life-size, whole body images with up to 85% less radiation compared to conventional X-rays. One of the safest imaging systems and technology available, it will improve the lives of keiki with scoliosis and other orthopaedic conditions that require many X-rays throughout their lives.
