Empty Bowl Hawai‘i Returns to Support the End of Food Insecurity

At this fundraising event, you pick a ceramic bowl and fill it with soups by beloved local restaurants like The Pig & The Lady and MW Restaurant.

For the first time since 2019, the formerly biennial Empty Bowl Hawai‘i returns. The popular fundraising event raises money for Chef Hui and Aloha Harvest’s Feed the People HI program, which launched in 2020 to help with food insecurity during the pandemic. Attendees get to select bowls handmade by members of the Hawai‘i Potters’ Guild and other partners, then choose from a variety of soups made by local restaurants including The Pig & The Lady, Kapa Hale, Istanbul, 53 By The Sea, Nui Kealoha, Feast, O’Kim’s Korean Kitchen, MW Restaurant, Little Plum and The Local General Store. Tickets are $90 plus fees.
