Easterseals Hawai‘i Fête: Brunch & Bloom Is a Festive, Fun Twist on Fundraising

Shop for a cause this Saturday at Easterseals Hawai‘i’s inaugural fun-draising fête, Brunch & Bloom, at the Four Seasons Resort O‘ahu at Ko Olina. Taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Brunch & Bloom is a festive, fun take on the typical fundraising gala, featuring chef stations, a unique pop-up marketplace and live entertainment by Kawika Kahiapo and friends.
Nine chef stations, helmed by some of Hawai‘i’s celebrated chefs, will offer special dishes just for the event. The menu includes:
- Chris Kaijoka, Senia: Smoked maple pain perdu, apple butter, bacon crumble
- Kevin Lee, PAI Honolulu: Warmed vanilla biscotti, liliko‘i Meyer lemon mousse
- Lee Anne Wong, Koko Head Café: Poi yogurt, Island fruit, coconut-macadamia granola
- Andrew Le, The Pig & The Lady: Brioche malassada, sweet Vietnamese coffee egg cream
- Chai Chaowasaree, Chef Chai: Shoyu pork belly, quail egg, Chinese bun
- Jason “J” Schoonover, 12th Ave Grill: Housemade chorizo, Anson Mills organic blue corn grits, 63-degree egg
- Darryl Shinogi, Roy’s Ko Olina: Monte Cristo sandwich
- Richard Pollhemus, Four Seasons Ko Olina: House-smoked kampachi tartine, citrus marigolds, quail egg, radishes, house-baked bread
- Rommel Bumanglag, Eggs ‘N Things: Banana pancake malassada à la mode, bananas, caramel, ice cream, strawberries, li hing pineapples
A unique pop-up marketplace showcasing 14 local vendors will give shoppers an opportunity to browse unique island goodies and colorful bloom-inspired merchandise, including: lei art prints by Judd Boloker; accessories by Jana Lam and ChitChat Hawai‘i; fashions by LULA 9 and Loom & Cotton Trading Company; jewelry by Salty Girl, Misha Lam, Katrina Cordova and Sandra DaRoza; succulent arrangements by Momo Terrascapes; art by John Koga; and more!
Four Seasons Kids Club KFAS (Kids for all Seasons, which is also known as Camp Kohola) will be happy to host your keiki while you enjoy the event. Lunch and refreshments will be provided along with keiki activities, storytime and lots of other fun!

- Check in opens at 10:30 a.m. and keiki must be picked up by 2 p.m.

A portion of all ticket and marketplace sales will go toward supporting Easterseals Hawai‘i’s statewide programs and services for the hundreds of Hawai‘i families living with disabilities and special needs.
