Draw Something

Lei Chic Going back to work after two days of freedom can be a downer. Fortunately, there are ways to cheer yourself up.

Like taking a minute (or four) to watch hilarious YouTube videos. Or say funny words out loud.

Uranus. Haboob. Doodlipoop.

Oh, you're not familiar with that last one? Allow us to change that…

Introducing Doodlipoop, a line of colorful greeting cards, stickers, shirts and more, designed to put a smile on your face.

Each character, or doodle, is lovingly hand-drawn by Mililani graphic designer Kelli Ann Harada and paired with cute phrases that are either inspired by television shows and pop culture references or created by Harada herself.

Lei Chic You'll have no problem perking up over stickers of smiling robots, turtles and elephants. Or greeting cards that say "I peck you" with two kissing birds. Or happy pig coasters and glow-in-the-dark ghost ninja T-shirts (especially glow-in-the-dark ghost ninja T-shirts.) Even the name Doodlipoop, with its ambigram logo, is meant to elicit a chuckle.

Harada can also create custom doodles and turn them into T-shirts and stickers for parties, weddings and fundraisers. So feel free to start thinking of your own quirky phrase.

Preferably one that includes the word kumquat.

Doodlipoop stationery, stickers, T-shirts and totes, $3-$15, are available online. View them in person at Art & Flea, July 26, at Fresh Cafe, 831 Queen St.
