Hawai‘i apparel brand Noa Noa is diving right in this summer with the debut of its first swimwear collection, a splash-tastic array of one-piece suits and mix-match separates featuring the company’s signature batik- and tapa-inspired patterns. Done in a supple, stretchy poly-spandex blend, the tops range from triangle and underwire silhouettes to sporty bralettes, while the bottoms (cheekily cut without showing too much) include simple hipsters and side-tie styles. Those wanting a little extra coverage can opt for owner-designer Joan Smoyer’s favorite, the chic Mana one piece, outfitted with a low-scoop back and peekaboo neckline. Shirred panels, tassels and braided straps offer fun touches, while unexpected color combos—think lilac with gray, burnt orange with soft yellow—will have heads turning.
