Dining at 12th Ave Grill Benefits Red Cross

12th Ave Grill is bringing back its “Community Plate” Night, monthly on the first Monday of every month.

On Monday, March 1st, 2010, proceeds from that night will benefit the Hawaii State Chapter of the American Red Cross. 12th Ave Grill will donate 15% of the gross sales from that night to the Red Cross.

By dining out at the restaurant that night you will be helping to support the life saving mission of the American Red Cross while having the opportunity to enjoy an award-winning meal.

A portion of those proceeds will be donated to the international relief fund to benefit Haiti.

The contribution you make by taking the simple action of dining out will affect a number of people throughout our community.

  • The Hawaii State Chapter of the American Red Cross provides instruction and resources on International Humanitarian Law and helps develop vital programs to continually support devastated countries and developing nations.
  • Locally the American Red Cross responds to a natural or man made disaster every 3 days.
  • 91 cents of every dollar donated to the American Red Cross is directed to our neighbors who may need emergency assistance and toward programs that will help prevent the next disaster from claiming more victims.

12th Ave Grill’s Community Plate will take place the 1st Monday throughout the year. April’s Community Plate will benefit the Aloha Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
