You love to roam until your bikini bottoms do the same. Gypsy lingerie ’s stay-put skivvies have been turned into a brand-spanking-new swimwear line. Sea by Gypsy offers a straight bandeau, tie bandeau, and scoop bottom all without uncomfortable wires but with designer Kate Ruggiero’s signature luxe slip lining.

Take an island beach babe, a Southern California swimsuit model and add water – the result is Acacia’s super chic swimwear. Maui-born FIDM graduate Naomi Newirth and Lyndie Irons (wife of the late Andy Irons) bring their love of exotic beaches to life in tasseled ties, fringe details, crochet backs, and cheeky bottoms that just landed recently in six more Hawaii stores.

Once a Big Island secret, Boom Boom Bikini is now making waves in stores across the state. Surfer Elena Merritt’s new 2011 collection will be coming out in a few weeks featuring color blocked one pieces, teeny bikinis, and sports bra suits to cover everyone from sporty swimmers to strictly sunbathers.
Watch for: Boom Boom’s new line of sarongs which will also be added in store and online in the next few weeks.
