Cooking Showcase with Chef Wayne

The Kahala ushers in spring with the Spring Blast Culinary Showcase on Saturday, March 27th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Waialae Ballroom.

Hoku’s and Plumeria Beach House executive chef Wayne Hirabayashi will demonstrate how to prepare a variety of pure and simple dishes using the season’s freshest ingredients.

Chef Wayne will showcase how to prepare three different recipes:

  • Tandoori chicken spring chop salad
  • Pan roasted Island catch
    and 
  • Pineapple tarte tatin.

The showcase also includes a 3-course lunch featuring the items demonstrated so you can fully enjoy your culinary experience.

You will receive printed recipe cards so they can prepare these newly learned creations at home. The cost to participate in the showcase is $50 per person, plus tax, gratuity, and service charge.
