Chocolate Tasting at Du Vin

Downtown Honolulu’s Brasserie Du Vin will present the second in their new series of tasting event. This one, perfect for the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday, will feature chocolate.

On Tuesday, February 10th at 7 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to try a variety of chocolates ranging from 50% to 80% cacao.

Du Vin’s chef will offer insights into chocolate’s history, production and health benefits, as well as the culinary application of chocolate as sweet and savory appetizers.

The tasting will include chocolate samples, a savory appetizer of chocolate-rubbed pork loin stuffed with rainier cherries, topped with a chocolate demi glace and a specially made dessert.

The chocolates will be served with Grahm’s 10-year Tawny and "Tres Ojos" Granacha.

The tasting is available for $29 (plus tax and gratuity) and seating is limited.
