Free Santa Photos & Holiday Performances

Wednesdays & Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m.

While most malls charge for photos with Santa, Royal Hawaiian Center is offering free photos with your favorite man in red every Wednesday and Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m., all the way through Christmas Eve. Each family gets to take home one print photo and a digital copy. There will be a special holiday performance from 5 to 5:30 p.m. and Santa photos begin from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Families and their keiki also get complimentary peppermint cookies from Honolulu Cookie Company and a Royal Santa Savings Pass that’s full of holiday offers from participating shops and restaurants.

Royal Santa Savings Pass

Available for folks who participate in Santa Photos (see above), this savings pass includes exclusive offers available through Saturday, Dec. 24. Be sure to show stores the physical card to redeem these offers.

• Champion’s Steak & Seafood: 10% off plate lunch purchases only.
• Doraku Sushi: 10% off. Not including alcohol or happy hour, only food items.

Guests who present $800 worth of combined receipts at Helumoa Hale Guest Services receive cute Christmas-y packing cubes designed by local artist JT Ojerio of Aloha De Mele.

Mālama Hawaii Makers Market

Friday, Dec. 23, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Perfect for last-minute holiday shoppers, this makers’ market highlights several Hawai‘i craftspeople and artists who create unique, one-of-a-kind goods. Peruse through resin artwork on local and native wood by Christian Bendo Art; hand-crafted, personalized jewelry by Miriam Quijano Designs; beautiful hand-painted ornaments by Izett Studio and much more. This event will take place on Building C, Level 3 of the mall.

Good To Know

• Royal Hawaiian Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily for holiday shopping hours. It’ll be open including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
• All kamaʻāina and military receive three free hours of parking with a $10 purchase. You’ll need to show valid ID at Helumoa Hale Guest Services, located on the first level.
• For out-of-state visitors, guests will receive the first hour free with a purchase of $10 or more from any of the stores. The second and third hours are at $2 per hour.
