Can we just have it all?

Whoa, stuff just got real.
Literally. No, we’re not rehashing a scene from Bad Boys 2 (this time!). We’re talking about how the beach-babe-fave online boutique Bikini Bird realized its manifest destiny last month by opening a see-it-touch-it-drool-on-it locale in Kailua that is basically everything your sea-woman wardrobe fantasies are made of—but in real life. Wow, when they said dreams do come true, they weren’t kidding, huh?

The store’s got the fresh ’n’ bright vibe of a stylish seacoast cottage (think your favorite interior-inspo Instagram account) but is located right smack in the middle of super-hip Hekili Street. The ladies are still stocking up their goods in their soft opening phase as we speak—look for news of a grand opening event on Instagram next month—but there are already enough lust-worthy goodies stuffed into the shelves and racks to keep your summer-prep wardrobe budget busy for months. Grab go-to suit brands that online fans can’t get enough of, such as Acacia, MIKOH, and Boys and Arrows in a range of fun florals, perky animal prints and sultry solid selections (including gorgeous deep plums and shadowy teals). And, of course, you can snag Bikini Bird’s sought-after collabs: maillots, two-pieces, tees and more in exclusive-to-BB prints, patterns and shades.

It’s not just the ladies’ suits that have got our heads swimming, though. Plate Lunch and Quality Peoples’ button-downs and tees for lads have recently been added to the roster, and you can find them in the flesh—er, fabric—at the new brick-and-mortar. In the all-important accessories realm, the shop’s on point, with Alola’s sassy pouches and versatile totes in a huge (seriously, so many styles!) range of patterns and sizes, perfect for carrying beach towels, sunscreen and all your other shore-side swag. If you’re anything like us, you’ll go gaga over the range of stylish sunglasses, or start ogling the gems, which include boho druzies and funky, tribal-inspired beaded numbers. We won’t even go into the greeting cards, yoga mats and pillows this wee-place-with-big-style is packing—but let’s just say our to-buy list has grown exponentially since our visit.
Talk about a real piece of work.
