Big City Diner Salutes the Military

Throughout the month of May, Big City Diner will celebrate Military Appreciation Month by giving all active duty Military personnel a discount when they show their Military ID.

As Big City Diner’s way of saying mahalo, each soldier and up to three guest will receive 10% off Dine-In food with the purchase of a beverage (per person). And during the restaurants normal Trooper Thursday promotion, they will double that discount to 20%. The discount is valid at all five Big City Diner locations.

Big City Diner will also be giving away six trips to a Neighbor Island with Go! Mokulele Airline. You can enter at all locations.

Also for a limited time, Big City Diner will be serving Grolsch Beer for Pau Hana Fridays. The special 15.2 oz. flip top bottle is available for just $5 (reg. $7.95). The special is available at all locations, all day on Fridays.

Grolsch Premium Lager is a typical North Western European Lager that originated in the Netherlands. The brand was founded in 1615 and since the “Guild Master” Peter Cuijper took over in 1678 the brand has been characterized by a visionary and non conformist approach to brewing and packaging; making Grolsch a beer that stands out. Grolsch uses its own yeast strain 1615 and is brewed using a selection of the finest two row European summer barley.

Also every Friday, Big City Diner Kailua and Waipio locations also feature live entertainment from 8:30 p.m. to 11p.m., presented by  ‘Akahi Productions!
