Aspiring to create excellent, meticulous dentistry, Dr. Cecil Riter, named one of 2020’s Best Dentists in Hawaii, is devoted to preventative and restorative oral health care. He is especially keen on creating naturally beautiful restorations and winning smiles. Able to “literally redesign your smile,” he offers the full range of general and cosmetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges and implant crowns.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest and California, Dr. Riter has lived in Hawaii for more than 30 years. Prior to his dental career, Dr. Riter earned a master’s degree in counseling and gained valuable experience working in high school and college education. He earned his D.D.S. degree from Loma Linda University.

As founder and director of Hawaii School of Dental Arts, Dr. Riter is proud to offer eager students training in dental assisting, dental office administration and other dental support services. “Since our first graduates completed their training 13 years ago, many Hawaii dental offices have hired our students,” he adds.
An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Riter enjoys kayaking, sailing, hiking and photography in our beautiful island home.
