Beer Tasting Dinner at 12th Ave Grill

12th Ave. Grill will be hosting a special beer tasting on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Chef Kevin Hanney has prepared a 4-course dinner that will be paired with 4oz pours of select beers. First seating for the event is at 5:30 & 6:00, second seating 7:30 & 8:00.

First Course
Smoked Quail w/Nalo Beer Batter Squash Blossoms, Rhubarb Chutney and Whole Grain Mustard Gastrique
Paired with Achel 8 Blonde Ale & Geants Saison Voisin Trappist Abbey Ale

Second Course
Pan Roasted Pork Loin stuffed w/Poblano Chiles and Taleggio Cheese On Crispy Polenta Cake w/ Sweet Onion Saute & Local Avocado Salad Paired with a Ballast Point Big Eye IPA & De La Senne Taras Boulba

Third Course
Duo of Porter Glazed Kulana Beef Brisket w/ Hamakua Mushroom Bread Pudding & Pan Seared Foie Gras w/ Pomegranate Molasses & Grilled Love Farms Figs
Paired with Ballast Point Black Marlin Porter & Eisenbahn Escura

Fourth Course
Cinnamon-Apple Fritters w/ Sharp Vermont Cheddar Sabayon
Paired with Jenlain Ambree French Farmhouse Ale
