You've almost figured it out; How to squeeze in a trip to H&M's Opening Day during your 60-minute lunch break.

All you need is:

A helicopter that can hover over Kalakaua Avenue.

Rappeling gear. (Oh, and a lesson or two would come in handy.)

Combat gear, to fend off the hundreds of other shoppers who will flood Hawaii's first H&M when the doors open at noon next Thursday.

Sounds like a good plan. Here's the inside scoop on a better one … that comes without bruises.

Lei Chic and H&M are teaming up to offer an amazing early access prize. One lucky reader will get in to H&M's newest location HALF AN HOUR before the public opening (this is NOT a plus-one option, apologies to your besties). So you have 30 minutes of frenzied-shopper-free browsing through 31,000 square feet of H&M's fashion-forward, budget-friendly, must-have items. Snag those must-have, soon-to-go-first-in-your-size dresses, separates, accessories and jewelry; hit the dressing rooms; and you'll be ready to cash out—with a $100 gift card, courtesy of H&M—way ahead of the crazy crowds.

H&M is giving out even more goodies that day. The first 500 people in line on Thursday, March 27 will score a limited-edition tote featuring some of Hawaii's best surf photographers, plus a shopping pass that will be worth between $10 to $500. There will also be some special in-store opening offers, just for the big event.

H&M will open at the Waikiki Business Plaza, 2270 Kalakaua Ave. at the corner of Seaside and Kalakaua avenues. Regular store hours will be Sunday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Free validated parking is available at the Business Plaza.
