Every year, the Sony Open brings 144 of the best golfers in the world to Wai‘alae Country Club. It remains the largest charitable event in Hawai‘i, raising over $11 million since 1999.

On September 9th, the largest sake-tasting event in the world, outside of Japan, occurred at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. Featuring over 300 sakes, the Joy of Sake has been an annual event since 2001.
