An Evening of Sustainable Cuisine

This Friday, January 8, 2010, the Halekulani will host an exceptional dining event that puts guests in an immersive culinary experience.

Their Halekulani Living series presents “An Evening of Sustainable Cuisine” featuring Hawaii’s Leading Chefs Alan Wong of Alan Wong’s Restaurants and Roy Yamaguchi of Roy’s Restaurants along with Vikram Garg, executive chef of the Halekulani.

The chefs will be joined by Ambassador Kathryn Hall – Vintner & Proprietor of HALL Wines, Napa Valley,  Dean Okimoto – President of Nalo Farms & the Hawaii Farm Bureau and Chuck Furuya – Master Sommelier.

Enjoy bistro dining with culinary creations showcasing Hawaii’s own sustainable cuisine movement, sustainable wines by HALL, cocktails and entertainment. 

HALL is California’s first winery to receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® Green Building Rating System™

The event takes place Friday, January 8, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. in the Halekulani Ballroom. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head.
