A First Look at the Brand-New Barrio Vintage Location

A poppin’ chartreuse paint job and oodles of fresh stock give this purveyor of old a new life in the former Florencia Arias space.

You have a running list of ways you'd put a time machine to good use. Especially since you totally should have been born in another decade (It's true. BuzzFeed said so).

Unfortunately, you're fresh out of flux capacitors, but if you're still looking to have a blast from the past, be one of the first to take a peek at the new Barrio Vintage location at the soft opening tonight. Located in the old Florencia Arias space just across the street from the former digs, the new shop will have more racks, AC (the better to try on those 1950s wool coats) and a sharp new paint job.

For the grand opening next week, the Barrio team has also been saving up a whole collection of special vintage finds. Give your wardrobe a throwback feel with their collection of '60s summer sundresses and high-quality, hand-selected boutique pieces. Get retro with a floral-print mini dress in psychedelic shades of bright pinks and yellows or an ivory shift dress with a delicately patterned lace overlay. You'll also find more structured styles mixed in, like the lined creamsicle number we spotted with a demure tied waist and crisp darts and the standout black-and-silver '80s cocktail dress with a sweetheart neckline and ruffles. Expect more looks for the fellas, as well.

So start up the DeLorean. After all, if you're gonna time travel, you'd better do it in style.
