Celebrate the start of Pride Month at the state art museum, where there will be live music by DJ Aitu, Izik and DJ Tittahbyte as well as performances by local drag queens from Generation Next. The art galleries will also be open for perusal, with Cocoa Chandelier leading drag tours.

Mimosas & Marys Daytime Drag and Variety Show
Sunday, Oct. 5, 3 to 5 p.m.
Mimosas & Marys is a monthly drag show starring singer and comedian Candi Shell, accompanied by a revolving slate of talented performers in the variety, drag and comedy scenes. This month’s theme is “Monster Mashup,” a ghoulish performance of songs and screams, hosted by the wickedly delightful Candi Shell.

Honolulu FrontRunners/FrontWalkers Pride Run/Walk 5K
Saturday, Oct. 11, 7 to 11 a.m.
Run or walk this annual 5K for the LGBTQIA+ community, which begins at Magic Island at Ala Moana Beach Park. Stay after the race for the awards ceremony, which will recognize men, women and nonbinary participants. All participants will receive a PRIDE RUN/WALK 5K T-shirt while supplies last!

Universal Show Queen Pageant

Honolulu Pride Kick-Off Pau Hana

Pride Week begins with the official kick-off pau hana at International Market Place! Your ticket includes two drinks, light bites and DJ-ing and performances by local drag artists. Watch the sunset, catch up with old friends and make weekend Pride plans. Don’t fret about parking, as International Market Place will validate for up to 4 hours.

Honolulu Pride Parade
Saturday, Oct. 18, 3 to 5 p.m.
Join Pride allies, nonprofits and businesses for the spectacular annual procession, featuring gorgeous floats, performers, advocates and volunteers! This year’s theme is Ho‘omau, a celebration of queer resilience. The Honolulu Pride Parade starts at Magic Island at 3 p.m. and marches down Kalākaua Avenue. The procession ends at the Waikīkī Shell, but don’t go home just yet because the Pride Festival kicks off at 5 p.m.

Honolulu Pride Festival

As the Honolulu Pride Festival arrives at the Waikīkī Shell, the festivities are only just beginning! At 5 p.m., the festival kicks off with more than 70 community booths featuring food, activities, community organizations and four hours of live entertainment to enjoy. If you’re still raring to go after the festival, wrap up the night with the after party at Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show 50th Anniversary

Gather for a spooky screening of the cult classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, at the Honolulu Museum of Art in celebration of the film’s 50th anniversary. Show up early for some extracurricular activities in the courtyard featuring guests from the Hawai‘i Opera Theatre. Each ticket will come up with a bag of props that the audience can use during the screening, and viewers are invited to dress up (no full-face masks, outside props, accessories larger than 16 inches, body paint, feathers, glitter or organic materials).
