Hold onto your hats (and ears) as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels soar through the sky and perform jaw-dropping aerial stunts during Blues on the Bay. The military base open house also includes appearances by parachute troupes, an F-22 Raptor team and the MarForPac Band, as well as aircraft displays, food vendors, exhibitor booths and educational keiki activities.

At this month’s speaker series event, hear the thrilling stories behind stunning surf photographs by Mike Ito, Christa Funk, Keoki Saguibo, John Hook and more. Prints will be on sale with all proceeds going to the Eddie Aikau Foundation. Plus, chill out at the cocktail hour with beats by big wave surfer DJ Keala Kennelly, aka DJ KK.

Visit the new exhibit onboard the Battleship Missouri Memorial that commemorates the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. You’ll view rare artifacts on loan from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, including an original origami crane folded by Sadako Sasaki, a young victim of the Hiroshima bombing on August 6, 1945.
