Sig Zane Designs and Chinatown Social Club Team Up on Kanikapila
The collab project Kanikapila showcases performances by well-known and up-and-coming local musical artists on social media and YouTube.
Despite a deep talent pool, Hawai‘i’s music scene rarely gets the spotlight it deserves. That’s the thinking behind Kanikapila, a new collaborative project from Kennedy Augafa of Chinatown Social Club, Nu Nalu Productions and Sig on Smith, Sig Zane Designs’ Honolulu boutique. To shine a light on said talents, the shop is hosting a series of performances by up-and-coming homegrown artists, available for viewing on social media and YouTube.
Keep an eye out for jam sessions featuring singer-songwriter Izik (left), R&B artist Keilana, reggae sensation Irie Love and others—some artists will even be showcasing new songs. Bonus: All are geared up in the latest Sig Zane Designs fashions, so you can check out stylish new releases while you groove.
