Playground Alert: Three Honolulu Parks Closing for Maintenance
Two of the closures will be in parks with recently updated play equipment.

The City and County of Honolulu announced that Crane Community, Mō‘ili‘ili Community and Old Stadium parks will close for maintenance for two months.Repairs will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 5 and will last until the beginning of November so crews can trim trees, power wash areas, repair tables and fencing and make other field improvements. All three should be completed by Monday, Nov. 5.
Crane and Old Stadium parks are two of the 84 neighborhood parks that received new and refurbished playgrounds last year. See the full list and pictures of each of the play areas on the Honolulu’s parks department website.
