Honored to be selected by his peers as one of 2019’s Best Dentists, Dr. Nakamura earned his DDS at University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Kokua Kalihi Valley, and specialty training in Pediatric dentistry at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Maine and Arizona, serving as the chief resident. Dr. Nakamura is board certified from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Patel was the first in Hawai‘i to have a Galileos Cone Beam CT scan, and amongst the nation’s first to perform guided dental implant minimally invasive surgery. As part of the select Cerec Mentors Group of Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, he is at the forefront of the newest released technology Cerec Primescan, Cerec single-visit digital dentistry and 3-D imaging. Dr. Patel has been voted a Best Dentist in America since 2009. A Preferred Provider for Invisalign®, he also provides pediatric and geriatric dental care, Zoom Teeth Whitening, TMJ therapy, emergency dentistry and routine dental cleanings.

Over 15 years of experience enables Dr. Patel to offer a painless injection technique.

As is lifelong student of advanced cosmetic dentistry and implantology, oral cancer and genetic dental research, Dr. Patel concentrates a portion of his practice on treating patients with special needs including autism, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and dementia, and volunteers for Special Olympics, Dental Lifeline/National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.
