July 3
Keiki festivities include bounce houses, face painting and balloon sculptures. There will be food as well as performances by Logan Okuda, Jewels of Paradise Dancers, and Efoe and Friends. The fun starts at 4 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. The fireworks start at 8:45 p.m.
Kailua Beach Park
July 4
The Kailua Beach Park fireworks show has been held since 1948. Fun includes the 65th annual Kailua Independence Day parade from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., an air show at 6 p.m., and fireworks on the beach, which start at 8 p.m. Fireworks are tentatively scheduled, pending funds. Maunalua Bay
July 4
Entertainment will include Anuhea, Dennis Kamakahi, Steve Maii and Friends, and Maunalua. Festivities start at 1 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m. There will be food, keiki games and activities, such as a bike decorating contest, a parade and a Kidz Zone area. Turtle Bay Resort
July 4
Gates open at 5 p.m. and festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase from community food booths. This event will also feature activities for children and live entertainment. The fireworks start at 8 p.m. turtlebayresort.com
Ala Moana Regional Park
July 4
This year will mark Ala Moana center’s 20th anniversary fireworks show. There will be live entertainment starting at noon and the fireworks will be at 8 p.m. The fireworks show is 20 minutes long; it is the largest on Oahu and among the 25 largest in the country. Attendees can start jockeying for position in the Sears parking lot starting at 3 p.m. Fireworks start at 8:30 p.m. alamoanacenter.com
Schofield Barracks
July 4
Schofield’s 40th annual Fourth of July fireworks show will feature music from Natural Vibrations, Nesian N.I.N.E, Flux Capacitor and Rebel Souljahz. There will be food, rides, games, a mechanical bull ride, prizes and more. This event is free and open to the public. Fireworks start at 8:30 p.m. mwrarmyhawaii.com
