This Weekend’s Christmas Pub Crawl

This is the last weekend to party before we begin singing "O Holy Night" around our Christmas trees with the fam. That being said, I suggest you spend this Saturday night on the 12 Bars of Christmas pub-crawl, a fundraiser benefiting the Hawaii Children’s Cancer Foundation and Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

Map your way through Chinatown’s bars and enjoy complimentary cover and discounted drinks along the way at Murphy’s Bar and Grill, Thirtyninehotel, Bar 35, SoHo Mixed Media Bar, O’Toole’s, Bambu 2.0, Du Vin, Indigo, Next Door, Mercury and JJ Dolan’s. Trips to Las Vegas, the Neighbor Islands and restaurant gift certificates are the midnight raffle prizes, so be sure to bring a toy or canned food donation for a free raffle ticket.

Event organizer, Mark Becker has organized similar events in Chicago raising up to $100,000, but this is the first time he has organized the event for Honolulu. Kendis Teho, executive director of HCCF remarks, “This is a wonderful way for people to have fun at a reasonable price and a very generous effort on the part of the Chinatown merchants to help our children and families at a time when they need even more support."

Presale tickets are available online for $20 per person, $25 at the door. Check-in is at SoHo Mixed Media Bar from 7 to 9 p.m.
