Egg Month at Alan Wong's Restaurants
Alan Wong’s Restaurants are egging you on in the month of August and featuring the eggs of Peterson Upland Farms.

Peterson Upland Farms (located in Wahiawa) is celebrating 100 years of excellence and a commitment to tradition of the family farm, with multiple generations involved with the business of providing farm fresh local Hawaii eggs.
In celebration of this milestone, Alan Wong’s Restaurants have launched an Eggcellent Recipe Contest.
Recipes will be accepted in (3) dinner menu categories: appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Contest organizers are challenging you to go beyond the typical breakfast or brunch recipes. Recipes should be original and must use fresh island eggs as the main component of the dish. Entries will be judged on their taste, presentation, use of eggs and originality.

Six ‘Semi-finalist’ recipes selected will be reproduced by the Alan Wong’s Restaurants chefs and judged on September 21, 2010, at a ‘Dinner with Alan Wong at The Pineapple Room’. The Grand Prize Winning Recipes will be ‘reinterpreted’ in the style of Alan Wong’s Restaurants, and will be recognized on the dinner menu and served at The Pineapple Room for a month following the judging. Grand Prize Winners also receive a Pineapple Room ‘Dinner for Four’ dining certificate, and fresh island eggs from Petersons’ Upland Farm.
