Crustacean Craze back at The Kahala

The Kahala Hotel & Resort has brought back its Crazy about Crustaceans promotions for the Fall . Both Plumeria Beach House and Hoku’s will have special menus available for a limited time throughout the month.

Plumeria Beach House – October 6-12

The Crustacean Craze starts at Plumeria Beach House from October 6-12 and features a 3-course set menu.

The 3-courses are:

  • Crustacean Experience (chilled crab & Asian pear salad, poached lobster roulade, and citrus shrimp & scallop)
  • Garlic fried Kona crab with garlic shrimp, lobster and crab risotto
  • Toasted marshmallow parfait

Hoku’s – October 13-19

The "craze: moves to Hoku’s from October 13-19 and features a 5-course set menu.

The 5 courses include:

  • Ebi tartare;
  • Dungeness crab salad
  • Jumbo island prawn chile relleno with Kona beer pattered prawn
  • Scallop Lobster Newburg
  • Strawberry ginger float

Also, throughout the month of October, Hoku’s and the Plumeria Beach House will offer special pink desserts and The Veranda will have a special menu featuring pink afternoon tea treats and sandwiches. A portion of the proceeds from these items will be donated to the Kapi’olani Women’s Ambulatory Cancer Center.

Plumeria Beach House
Strawberry Pavlova – Fresh Strawberries on Pink Meringue Cloud served with Strawberry Ice Cream for $10.00

Hoku’s
Raspberry Opera – Almond Sponge layered with Raspberry Cream and Chocolate served with Milk Chocolate Sauce and Raspberry Sorbet for $10.00
