Hawaii’s Woodshow
September 1–15

Brothers Cazimero Tribute Concert
September 6
The Hawaii Theatre comes alive with the song and dance of the Brothers Cazimero, the ladies of the Royal Dance Company and the Halau Na Kamalei O Lililehua, as they pay tribute to Queen Liliuokalani. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.; tickets are $32. hawaiitheatre.com.
The Toxic Avenger Musical
September 12–29
Melvin wants to clean up Tromaville, New Jersey. Instead, the mayor’s bullies throw him into a vat of radioactive waste, where he reemerges as the Toxic Avenger. Goodwill Goes Glam!

Pacific Hall Reopening
September 21
After being closed for more than a year, the Pacific Hall, formerly the Polynesian Hall, reopens. Admission is free today, and the hall will showcase artifacts, some never before displayed, of Pacific Islanders, including model canoes, wooden slit drums and much more. bishopmuseum.org.
