Aerial Enchantment

This month’s Live from the Lawn performance outside the Hawaii State Art Museum will be a treat for the ears and the eyes with Makana on guitar and Samadhi gymnasts tumbling, fire dancing and performing mesmerizing aerial feats. Enjoy gourmet food and fine wines at The Contemporary Museum’s August Moon Wine Tasting. Organic wines from Wine Merchants of Hawaii and food from Twist at the Sheraton Waikīkī, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and the TCM Café will be on hand to wine and dine guests. Let It Snow

It may be August, but its snowing inside the Hawaii Theatre. Welcome to Slava’s Snowshow, featuring slapstick clowning in this comedy created by Slava Polunin. The cast uses water, cobwebs, bubbles and dry ice to create a blizzard of snowflakes. The snow show has been touring internationally for more than 15 years and last stopped in Honolulu in 2001.
