1. Artist at Sea First Friday Exhibit 

February 3

Enjoy a showcase of painting, photography, music and film inspired by science from Schmidt Ocean Institute’s research vessel Falkor.

2. Punahou Carnival 

​February 3 & 4

Take it back to the ’50s at Punahou School’s annual carnival. Admission is free—which means entertainment is, too—but you might want to bring some cash along for malassadas, Ferris wheel rides, white elephant and more.

3. Courtyard Cinema

Ward Village’s monthly Courtyard Cinema showcases a selection of Hawaiʻi International Film Festival-curated films. February’s pick is Southside With You, a dramatization of Barack and Michelle Obama’s first date.

4. Sixth Annual International ‘Ukulele Contest 

February 11

Discover the ʻukulele talents of the future! Amateur ʻukulele players of all ages from across the world will compete at Royal Hawaiian Center’s Royal Grove Stage.

5. ʻUkulele Picnic in Hawai‘i 

February 12

Keep the ʻukulele love going with two stages of live entertainment, each featuring well-known local and international ʻukulele performers. Other booths will feature Hawaiian crafts, food, activities for the keiki and a luxury ʻukulele raffle. ​

7. Outdoor Gear Exchange

Recycle, reuse and resell! Gather your outdoor gear to buy, swap or donate. Attendees can also sell their goods and donate the proceeds to nonprofit program The Arch Project.
