6 New Locally Designed Swim Styles You Need Now
We’ve got our eye on you, 2018.
One person’s “new year, new you,” is another’s “new year, same you, new wardrobe” because, honestly, why mess with something that’s already perfect? *bats eyelashes*
Instead, we’re focusing on recruiting swell new swim additions to our cache of seashore ensembles. Take a peek at the six fresh releases from local labels Vermilli, Pikai Swim Hawai‘i, Sirena + The Sea and Magdakine Swimwear we’ll be donning to kick off a new year of beach-bumming, wave-catching, duck-diving and sun-bathing.
Can we cue the fireworks, please?

This maillot’s deep-plunge neckline and soft blush shade caught our eye, but it’s the intricate single braiding down the spine, reminiscent of designer Laurie DiBiagio’s background in woven jewelry, that makes this piece really stand out.
