Ola Ka Hā to Benefit ‘Iolani Palace

Spend a day celebrating Hawaiian history and culture with hula, food and a free concert benefitting the ‘Iolani Palace. Local entertainers Sean Na‘auao, Jerry Santos, Mailani, Weldon Kekauoha and Patrick Landeza will headline the event.

Honolulu Festival Grand Parade

The Honolulu Festival wraps up with the Grand Parade, and yes, it’ll be grand. More than 60 groups are participating, so expect to see huge floats, marching bands, dance troupes and pageant queens. After the parade, catch the Nagaoka Fireworks show lighting up the skies over Waikīkī.

Waikīkī Aquarium’s Birthday

Happy 112th birthday, Waikīkī Aquarium! Yes, there’ll be birthday cake, but the real treat is free admission for the first 112 people who get there early! Bring your kids for stylish updos (mermaid braids and shark ‘dos). Keiki can get their photos with costumed characters, while grownups can snap a photo in front of the 1916 model T car.
