Wednesday, July 1, to Sunday, July 5
All week, Ala Moana Center merchants are offering exclusive deals. On Saturday, July 4, don’t miss the live music at Centerstage featuring local bands Hui Pū and High Watah. Head to the Mauka Wing for free, family-friendly activities like glitter tattoos and cornhole games. Plus, you can make an appointment to donate to the bloodmobile at the Atkinson Trolley Depot on July 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hale‘iwa is pulling all stops to celebrate 4th of July with a vintage car show, food, crafts and retail vendors and live music. The fireworks start at 8:20 p.m. Since more than 15,000 people came to watch in past years, it’s best to come early to snag parking and a prime viewing spot in the park.

Spend the evening at Schofield Barracks with holiday festivities that include a parachute demonstration by the Para-Commandos of the U.S. Special Operations Command, performances by The Scooter Brown Band, Chris Young, 25th Infantry Division and 312th Army Band as well as bounce houses and games. Bring picnic blankets, towels and beach chairs to sit back and relax on Kailua Beach with a superb view of the fireworks. Alexander & Baldwin has sponsored complimentary shuttles to the beach from A&B shopping centers. Catch a shuttle from the Kailua Town Parking Garage at Lau Hala Shops starting at 4:30 p.m. The shuttle will run every 30 minutes until 10:30 p.m.
