If you’re a penguin lover, you’re in luck. There are three places in Hawai‘i where you can hang out with these cute little critters to celebrate World Penguin Day on Monday, April 25.
1. Honolulu Zoo
The Honolulu Zoo welcomed four endangered male African penguins to its ‘ohana in November 2015. The penguins came from Seneca Park Zoo in New York.

2. Sea Life Park
The Sea Life Park is home to adorable Humboldt penguins that leap out of the water and waddle all day. Here’s your chance to learn all about these creatures during a trainer-led forum.

3. Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa
If you’re visiting Maui, stop by the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa to meet its seven South African black-footed penguins (Oreo, Nahu, Buddah, Zen, Mai, Tai and Momi). You can watch them eat, swim and waddle around as penguins do. If you’re looking for more hands-on activities, you can decorate penguin cookies and feed penguins in the resort’s atrium (hint: they love to eat squid, cuttlefish, krill and other tiny fish). If you stay overnight at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa on April 24, you can take home a stuffed penguin and celebrate World Penguin Day every day.
