Themed En Route, the runway show included looks from junior class designers Zoe Wang, Crystal Lee, Taylor Komatsu and Kanako Lorenzana. It also spotlighted a specialty collection from designer Kaimi Kajiyama inspired by pierrot clowns and commedia de’l’arte. Senior class showings included designer Michelle Nino’s Enchanted romantic fairy tale-themed collection, Kaycee Yoshioka’s edgy Viper collection which brought together elements of rock music and the rainforest, and Jayme Piscotto’s embroidery-rich Intertwined collection, rooted in an eastern legend about the red string of fate.
