Christian Self (39 Hotel), Justin Park (Manifest), Alicia Yamachika (Nobu, Uncle Bo’s and Pint & Jigger), Dave Newman (Pint & Jigger), Roxanne Siebert (V Lounge and The Safehouse) and Mo Sanford (The Safehouse) successfully qualified to compete in the event finals.
For the finals, bartenders competed in four rounds – an original cocktail, speed & accuracy (where competitors had to accurately pour 3 different measured shots and a 5 oz wine glass and make a long island ice tea, vodka cranberry and 2 kamikaze shots as quickly as possible), personality and a mystery ingredients box (shiso leaf, lime, Monster energy drink, dragon’s eye fruit, raw egg, molasses and Peeps).
In the end, Justin Park from the Manifest was the overall competition winner, winning a trip for 2 to Vegas. Congratulations to all of the competitors and be sure to look out for this event next year!
