Food, fireworks, live music, carnival games, ferris wheel and mechanical bull rides. This New Year's Eve "Party of the Year!!" at Kakaako Park has everything to keep both adults and kids entertained. There'll be more than 40 Eat the Street food trucks, and more than 20 DJs and bands. Trade in denim for a tuxedo or gown if you're planning to attend Lux at the Trump's "Casino Royale" party. Everyone who attends this James Bond-inspired party will receive $1,000 in LUX BUX to try their hand at Las-Vegas-style casino games. There's a dealer at the roulette, Blackjack and craps tables, so it'll feel like the real thing. If you want to celebrate 2014 with the family, Dave & Busters is the place to be. The celebration takes place in private rooms, where you can enjoy an appetizer buffet, dessert and unlimited soft drinks. On New Year's Eve, M Nightclub in the Waterfront Plaza will be hosting a block party. If you hate crowds, stay away from this one. If you prefer a laid-back alternative to new year's festivities, check out Atlantis Navatek Cruises. Aboard the viewing deck, you'll have a unobstructed view of the fireworks display off Ala Moana and Waikiki Beach. The nearly $200 package includes pupus, desserts, party favors and a complimentary glass of champagne. Dance to '80s music and top-40 hits. Don't bother heading over to the west side of town on Dec. 31. The state's largest New Year's Eve aerial fireworks show at the Ko Olina Resort is cancelled this year. Also, there's a waiting list for the New Year's celebration at Aulani Disney Resort & Spa.
Kakaako's newest cocktail bar, Bevy, celebrates its first New Year's Eve with DJs Timo Lee and Kevin Koga.
