Trade in denim for a tuxedo or gown if you're planning to attend Lux at the Trump's "Casino Royale" party. There's a dealer at the roulette, Blackjack and craps tables, so it'll feel like the real thing. On New Year's Eve, M Nightclub in the Waterfront Plaza will be hosting a block party. If you hate crowds, stay away from this one. If you prefer a laid-back alternative to new year's festivities, check out Atlantis Navatek Cruises. Aboard the viewing deck, you'll have a unobstructed view of the fireworks display off Ala Moana and Waikiki Beach. The nearly $200 package includes pupus, desserts, party favors and a complimentary glass of champagne. Dance to '80s music and top-40 hits. Don't bother heading over to the west side of town on Dec. 31. The state's largest New Year's Eve aerial fireworks show at the Ko Olina Resort is cancelled this year. Also, there's a waiting list for the New Year's celebration at Aulani Disney Resort & Spa.
 

Kakaako's newest cocktail bar, Bevy, celebrates its first New Year's Eve with DJs Timo Lee and Kevin Koga.
