When in doubt, don’t go out. Or just scroll through these Instagram feeds.
Surf’s up! With the Billabong Pipe Masters and the Vans Triple Crown surf competitions happening this week, just about everyone on O‘ahu wants to check out the massive waves that are rolling in on the North Shore. Unfortunately, you can’t just ditch your 9-to-5 job to drive to the other side of the island. We feel your pain, so we decided to compile a list of Instagram accounts that showcase the beautiful and enormous waves that you’re missing out on.
1. Zak Noyle
You may recognize Zak Noyle’s work in our Mauka to Makai issue (his photo was featured on the cover), or from SURFER Magazine, where he is a senior staff photographer. Noyle dives deep and takes a few hits to capture beautiful and massive waves. Take a look at his Instagram and you’ll see what we mean. Fun fact: His father is commercial photographer Ric Noyle.
2. Clark Little
Clark Little, duh. He captures vibrant and mesmerizing photos of waves at shorebreak. With more than 1.2 million followers, he’s kind of a big deal. Watch the video above.
3. Alex Kilauano
This Kailua native is a videographer for SURFER Magazine and showcases his work on IG. You’ll find gorgeous videos and photos of the Pacific Ocean in all its natural beauty.
4. Eric Sterman

6. Brooke Dombroski
Brooke Dombroski captures more than just beautiful surf images–she also epitomizes the beach lifestyle. Live out your endless summer dreams through her Instagram, and try not to get too jealous.

9. World Surf League
Get updates on the Billabong Pipe Masters competition. The World Surf League broadcasts surf competitions live on its website, which is mobile-friendly, too.

11. Billy Kemper
Professional surfer, or professional thrill-seeker? You may have seen photos of Billy Kemper charging massive waves for the Pe‘ahi Challenge on Maui (and winning the tournament), but you can also catch footage of him riding waves at Pipeline on his account.
