11 Last-Minute Easter 2017 Brunches You Can Still Hop To

Last we checked, these restaurants were still taking reservations. But you’d better call now, before all the Easter bunnies beat you to it.

What is Easter, really, without brunch? If you still haven’t made your reservation, don’t fret—we’ve found a few eateries that still have some spots available.

 

Hau Tree Lānai

Dine on the lānai overlooking Kaimana Beach with a plate of Alaskan crab legs, made-to-order omelets, macadamia-nut coconut French toast, prime rib, plus a plethora of seafood, salads, desserts and more. Reservations are currently being taken for 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.; or at noon for parties of fewer than nine.

Hōkū’s

Heralded for its innovative fusion fare melding Hawaiian, Asian, Mediterranean and European flavors, Hōkū’s Easter brunch selection—which is still being finalized—is sure to impress. The restaurant is almost completely booked up, with a few spots left for parties of two. Larger groups can be added to a waiting list.

MAC 24/7

If you’re in search of nontraditional brunch options, kālua pork eggs Benedict or soy-ginger salmon might be just what you need. Of course, brunch at MAC 24/7 wouldn’t be complete without its famous M.A.C. daddy pancake station with 10 topping options.

Plumeria Beach House

Celebrate Easter under umbrellas by the beach. Though the menu has yet to be finalized, Plumeria Beach House promises special additions to its regular brunch items. Reservations are currently being taken for 1:45 p.m. or later.

Rainbow Lānai

Gaze out over the clear blue waters of Waikīkī while you enjoy passion-orange-guava pancakes with macadamia-nut sauce, Island catch of the day with Thai red curry and kiawe-wood-smoked prime rib or beef, to name a few of the mouthwatering menu items. Reservations are available for 9 a.m., 11 a.m. or 1 p.m.

Tropics Bar & Grill

If you just can’t seem to get it together in time, this walk-in-only Easter brunch option is for you. The menu includes French toast with maple and coconut syrup, steamed dumplings, an omelet station and more. There will also be continental breakfast offerings, including muffins, croissants and sliced seasonal fruit.

Turtle Bay Resort

Enjoy Easter with brunch on the North Shore, plus an egg hunt and photo ops for the kiddos. Turtle Bay’s Easter menu includes everything from kiawe-smoked prime rib and suckling pig to steamed crab legs and mahimahi. There are also more than a dozen desserts to choose from.

The Pineapple Room

The Pineapple Room is hosting a “We Plate, You Plate” buffet, with already plated dishes including a Makaweli Beef loco moco with kālua pig fried rice or a New Zealand salmon ochazuke (pictured), or a traditional buffet spread with kalbi-marinated chicken, steamed North Shore tilapia, a variety of breakfast meats, fried rice and miso soup. There will also be a chilled buffet (think salads, local goat cheese, pickled veggies and mac salad), an action station with roast pork and made-to-order omelets and a slew of desserts, including the restaurant’s popular coconut-haupia cake.
