Twist at Hanohano and the Sheraton Waikiki are giving one lucky reader the chance to experience FLIGHTS, a new wine bar concept at Twist at Hanohano on the 30^th floor of the Sheraton Waikiki.

The contest is closed, but you can still visit Flights at Twist at Hanohano to enjoy everything that it delivers.

Flights @ Twist is a wine bar within Twist at Hanohano focused on wine education and experience. Taking its name from the wine term to describe a selection of wines (typically around 3 glasses) presented for the purpose of sampling and comparison, Flights @ Twist is a destination for both wine enthusiast and individual who recently discovered the joy of wine.

Flights @ Twist takes that experience a step further by incorporating an travel theme playing off the word itself and incorporating it's breathtaking 30^th floor location overlooking Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach.

The menus for the 5 flights that are offered resemble boarding passes. The flights offered range from regions (like European and Southern Hemisphere wines) , varietal (anything but cabernet or chardonnay) and preparation ("green" sustainably farmed wines).

 

The wines are served on specially designed tasting mats that serve as your passport to wherever your flight is taking you. It offers a nice keepsake and description of the wines you are experiencing.

Flights @ Twist also features a First Class In Flight Service menu with small plates and desserts brilliantly designed by executive chef Ryan Loo.
