What: Get tips and answers to your fashion questions at the Hawai
'i Woman Expo. Kathryn Drury-Wagner, author of The Ultimate Guide to Shopping on Oahu, leads the panel “The A-Team: Local Stylistas Slay Your Toughest Fashion Problems.” On the panel is Alyson Helwagen, founder of Lei Chic, Allison Kim-Czerniak , designer of Alliway jewelry, Alyssa Fung, owner of Fashionista’s market, and Allison Izu, designer of her namesake petite denim line.

Fashion's Night Out

Taste of Paradise
What: Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ko Olina Taste of Kapolei, the all-you-can-eat sunset event benefitting the Rotary Club of Kapolei Charities. Indulge in cuisine from more than 30 top restaurants including Sam Choy's, Formaggio, Top of Waikiki, Indigo, Gordon Biersch, Haleiwa Joe's, and Hapa Grill, desserts from Cake Envy and Menchie's Yogurt, and fine wine, beer and spirits provided by HASR Wine Co., Barefoot Wine, Anheuser-Busch, Bacardi USA, Grey Goose and more. What: Cooking experts from Whole Foods prepare their own recipes using local ingredients live for shoppers and a panel of judges including Honolulu Advertiser food writer Wanda Adams and KCC cooking instructor Frank Leake. Shoppers can take home the recipe and preparation tips.
