One Track Wine

You’ve kept it bottled up for too long now: schlepping through giant warehouse aisles of crates trying to decide on a bottle of wine isn’t really any better than the 30-minute drive to a wine shop in town.

No more whining, Hawai‘i Kai. The newly-opened D’Vine Wines at Koko Marina Center is a well-edited bottle boutique stocking wines not found before on the east end of the island.

Many of D’Vine’s wines are organic or biodynamic, and the shelves offer many bottles requested by area residents, as well as specialty drinks too, like the blood orange mimosa (in a champagne bottle), Absinthe liquor, and sparkling sake.

Need a chilled wine for your dinner tonight? Grab one from the Vinotemps fridge – one bottle of every label the store carries is in there. Don’t really know what you’re making for dinner just yet? Check out one of the recipes for pairing with wine, or for cooking with wine (Cabernet spaghetti could be on the menu tonight).

Let the wining begin.
