Wearing Roxy was fine, until you got a job. After that, being mistaken for a high school student got old fast.
You're tired of taking all your clothes to the tailor. Or scouring the racks just to realize all the extra-smalls and smalls already sold out. Not like you were crazy about those "old lady" clothes anyway.
Lynn Sakutori knows exactly how you feel. Satori, her line of expertly-fitted silk dresses and work-ready separates, quickly became a local favorite when it debuted in 2008 and appeared in our pop-up boutique last year. Now, the petite designer is relaunching with a new name, sakutori, and, starting tomorrow, a brand new vendor (Nordstrom, you may have heard of it).
Expect the same clean lines and on-trend details, like a pleat back tank with graphic edge print, cinched at the waist with a slim belt. Pair it with a black pencil skirt for the perfect office outfit. The abstract puzzle print dress is the perfect day-to-night piece; wear it under a blazer for work, then throw on heels and a statement necklace for date night. The double-layer tunic in black-and-white "tatami" print will help you master the layered look, while the tulip hem cropped pant and slim leg long pant in stretchy ponte knit will keep you stylishly comfortable when you're on the go.
Each piece is machine or hand washable, wrinkle-resistant, and oh, did we mention under $80?
So you don't have to spend a lot of money, or a lot of time, to look good. Really good.
Score one for the little people.
