Morgan Lane-Tanner's new photography jewelry
Get the Picture

It's awesome for Instagram, Facebook photos and selfies. Only one thing keeps your smartphone from being the picture-perfect accessory.
It's uncomfortable to wear on your ears. What a pain.
It's probably a better idea to don a new jewelry line that's getting straight to the scenic point. Morgan Lane-Tanner, known for her paper-based accessories, just launched a new collection that captures some of Hawaii's prettiest spots in elegant earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
Photographs shot by Lane-Tanner's fiance, Josh Astern, are preserved in resin set in sterling silver or gold-fill frames. Don a sailboat at sunset, the Mokulua islands, palm trees silhouetted against an orange sky or a bird resting on a wire.

The resin pieces are slightly translucent, giving them that stained-glass glow that really makes them come alive when the light shines through. All are priced below $100.
So you don't have to spend a bundle to be a striking image.
Now that's a snap decision.
Morgan Lane-Tanner jewelry is available at lanetannerjewelry.com. You can also find her at Art & Flea Thursday and in Global Village in Kailua in April.
