Elle Mer Swim’s New Surf Candy Collection

We love these bright, sunny colors and classy details.

This diet is a real downer. Gals, we so need cheat day. So help us, we’re going to indulge.

Talk about perfect timing: Locally designed Elle Mer Swim is releasing its new Surf Candy collection this week (available for preorder now), and it has loads of good taste. These four sweet new bikinis have got us salivating, with a bright color palette of statement-making orange, pink and icy blue, with one smokin’ hot white number that adds just the right amount of spice. The mini collection puts skin-baring details center stage, with cheeky cuts and sexy mesh inserts along the hips and décolletage. Our personal favorite? A long-sleeve mesh crop top with a bandeau-style panel that will look stunning when lounging beachside. We’re getting a sugar rush just thinking about it.

And since we are all about having our cake and eating it too, don’t forget to shop the brand’s latest collection, Winterlust, as well, which is full of tasty, strappy details, athletic-wear influences and a distressed indigo pattern that you won’t be able to resist.

It’s a small serving of styles, but it’s definitely got a lot of flavor. Since Elle Mer Swim’s launch this January, it’s been taking things small with each of the two collections and, so far, we’re thinking these are just the desserts we’re looking for. Plus, local girl and designer Keri Ogden gets her inspiration from her Big Island home and designs her pieces for ladies that love surfing, swimming and diving and want a high-quality suit that both looks good and actually stays put in the water. Now that is a real treat.

Looks like this summer is going to be all kinds of yum in the sun.

$65–$114, ellemerswim.com.
