Whether you want to celebrate with the masses or kick it in the corner of a lounge, here are the parties to be at on New Year's Eve in Honolulu, Hawaii. Happy New Year, everyone!

Thirtyninehotel’s Smell the Glove New Year’s Eve party features disco, techno and house music by DJ Mark Chittom from NYC, DJ Timo and Grady Gillan. Arrive early to take advantage of the complimentary pupu, and also enjoy a balloon drop and complimentary champagne toast at midnight. The best part about this venue? There’s a clear view of the Aloha Tower fireworks from its outdoor patio. $15 pre sale from here. 39 N. Hotel St., Chinatown.

Apartment3 is celebrating a gold New Year’s Eve, with free makeovers beginning at 9 p.m., DJs Hot Muffins and happy hour prices until 8 p.m. Coors and Miller Lite will be $3 all night. 21+, Free before 9 p.m., cover tba, VIP packages available, call 955-9300. 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., 1750 Kalakaua Ave., third floor, Honolulu.

Spend your night partying aboard Honolulu’s only New Year’s Eve yacht party with Firewater Events. There will be three levels of entertainment, including some of my favorite DJs Mr. Nick and Rayne. Bands, 82fifty and Grlfrnds take over the second level and Sean D will be on the mic—and, don’t forget the incredible view of the fireworks once midnight strikes. 21+, Drink specials include $5 Grey Goose and $4 Heinekens. $45 pre-sale, $55 at Pier 5. Experience New Year’s Eve on the Las Vegas Strip and at New York’s Time Square at RumFire and Edge of Waikiki at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel with Ignite 2011. While hanging out oceanfront, enjoy watching Vegas showgirls, Elvis, Cher and Marilyn Monroe impersonators. Roadrunner and Bud Light are throwing a massive block party at Aloha Tower with seven stages, 30 DJs and bands, and a fireworks show. Here’s the music line-up: Gordon Biersch (70s and 80s), Waterfront (video mixing on three screens), Don Ho’s (live reggae bands and dancehall DJs), Red Bull Center Stage (Las Vegas mashups, electro and house), Bud Light VIP Lounge (90s, 2k, hip hop classics) and Aloha Lounge (hip hop and club hits). $15 general, $50 VIP ticket includes premium view of fireworks, tapas and pupu, open Stella and Bud Light bar till 11 p.m., complimentary champagne toast. 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., 21+ only. Hawaii’s only Latino New Year’s Eve bash is happening at Café Che Pasta in downtown Honolulu. Dance into the New Year to merengue, bachata, mambo and salsa music. Also, enjoy free Champagne and food from its tamale bar. $10 cover, 18+, 1001 Bishop St., Honolulu.

Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand always knows how to throw fun parties. New Year’s Eve features magic by the Strolling Magic of Alex and the Magic of Latko. Also enjoy a champagne and shots bar, go-go boys and free party favors. 8 p.m., $15 kamaaina, $20 general. $100 table reservations available, includes a bottle of Champagne.
