Your Black Friday Cheat Sheet for Oʻahu Shopping Centers

Savings stalkers know that it’s the early birds who get the best shopping deals, especially on Nov. 24, Black Friday. To help you navigate the day, we’ve whipped up a handy cheat sheet for O‘ahu malls and shopping centers, loaded with all the details you’ll need to score big, including extended hours, parking tips and can’t-miss day-of promotions. 

 

Kāhala Mall

Extended Mall Hours

6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Select stores will open at 5 a.m.

 

Mallwide Promotion

As part of Kāhala Mall’s Thank Goodness It’s Black Friday event, select merchants will offer doorbusters up to 70 percent off.

 

From 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., shoppers with a HawaiianMiles credit or debit card can earn six HawaiianMiles per dollar spent, with receipts totaling a minimum of $200. Receipts must be timestamped between 6 and 9 a.m., and redeemed between 6 and 10 a.m. Maximum 2,400 miles per person.

 

Plus, the mall will be giving away a round trip to the Mainland (40,000 HawaiianMiles) from Hawaiian Airlines. Enter to win at Center Court.

 

Parking

2,000 free self-park stalls.

 

Ala Moana Center

Extended Mall Hours

6 a.m. to 9 p.m. As a part of Ala Moana Center’s Black Friday ThanksGetting Day event, select stores will open from Thanksgiving Day. Visit alamoanacenter.com for a list of individual stores’ extended hours.

 

Mallwide Promotions

Receive a limited-edition Big Santa plush toy with $500 in Ala Moana Center receipts dated from Nov. 11 to Dec. 24. Receipts must be redeemed by Dec. 24, 2017 at Guest Services. No more than three individual receipts per store. Gift card purchases will not be accepted. Must be 13 years of age or older. While supplies last. Limit one gift per person.

 

Parking

More than 11,000 free self-park stalls. Valet will be available for $8 from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Mall Level 2, across from Morton’s The Steakhouse. As part of the Servco Lexus Perks program, valet is complimentary for all Lexus owners.

 

Tip

Get there early for the biggest deals—some stores are doing tiered offers, meaning discounts are greater first thing in the morning and get lower as the day progresses.

 

International Market Place

Mall Hours

10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Select stores will open earlier.

 

Parking

More than 700 free self-park stalls. Get four free hours of parking with a minimum $10 purchase at any International Market Place retailer or restaurant. Valet is also available for $5.

 

Ka Makana Ali‘i

EXTENDED MALL HOURS

6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

MALLWIDE PROMOTIONS

Expect mallwide sales, gift with purchase offers and giveaways. Santa and his elves will surprise random shoppers with gift cards. Plus, take advantage of the mall’s Black Friday Weekend gift card offer—from Friday, Nov. 24, 6 a.m., to Monday, Nov. 27, 9 p.m., spend $150 and get a free $15 gift card, spend $200 and get a free $20 gift card, and spend $250 and get a free $25 gift card. Redeem same-day receipts at guest services. One per person, per day. While supplies last.

Pearlridge Center

More than 7,000 free self-parking stalls.  

 

Royal Hawaiian Center

10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Select stores will open earlier. Some stores will even start their Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving Day.

 

Mallwide Promotion

Receive a free tote bag with receipts totaling $300 or more, dated from Nov. 22, 2017 through Jan. 6, 2018. Redeem your receipts at the guest services desk.

 

Parking

600 self-park stalls. With a minimum $10 purchase in the center, parking is free for one hour, and $2 per hour after that, up to three hours.

 

Waikele Premium Outlets

Extended Mall Hours

Midnight to 11 p.m. The outlets will also be open on Thanksgiving Day from 9 a.m. to midnight.

 

Eden in Love

Select Ward Village stores, including Eden in Love, will be open as early as 6 a.m. on Black Friday.

Ward Village

Extended Mall Hours

9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Select stores will open earlier, from 6 a.m., including Cameron Hawai‘i, Eden in Love and La Muse. Visit wardvillage.com for a list of individual stores’ extended hours.

 

Parking

More than 2,700 free self-park stalls. Valet parking will be available for $7 at Ward Centre from 10 a.m. to midnight and at Ward Entertainment Center from 4 p.m. to midnight. For Black Friday only, valet at Ward Industrial Center is free from 5 a.m. to midnight.

 

Windward Mall

Extended Mall Hours

6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

 

Mallwide Promotions

Starting from 6 a.m., the first 500 shoppers to stop by Center Court are eligible to receive a Black Friday scratch-off card that can win them mystery prizes, restaurant and merchant gift cards valued at up to $100, plus a $500 Koʻolau Pets gift certificate.

 

From 6 to 10 a.m. 94.7 KUMU will broadcast on site and give away prizes, including a Vacations Hawai‘i gift certificate for a four-night Las Vegas vacation package for two.

 

The mall is also offering a free Regal Cinemas movie ticket to shoppers that spend $150 in a single day between Nov. 24 and Nov. 26. While supplies last. One free ticket per person, per day.
