Open house pick of the week: Salt Lake
There are a lot of nice listings open this weekend, but this particular condo in Salt Lake’s Century West caught both my and Clarke Reilly’s eye. She usually reports on condos and had this slated for Monday, but it’s such a hot buy, we decided to profile it today. (Click here for details.)
"To be honest, this unit is probably going to be in escrow by next week. It’s the best price for a two-bedroom, two-bath condo for its size and location. It’s going to go fast,” says realtor Khai Tran of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. “I’ve been getting a lot of calls on it since listing it on Tuesday.”
Tran adds that there are other two-bedroom units available in the building—all except one are priced lower—but they all come with one parking stall, whereas his listing comes with two. The resident parking is in a secured, gated lot.
The building amenities have also been upgraded, with a renovated pool and barbecue area. Residents can also use the condo’s recreation room and meeting room. There are also more than 10 guest parking stalls, which is a plus.
The flooring in this 795-square-foot unit was updated in the last two years; the kitchen was also updated, with stonetile counters and dark wood cabinets. There’s no washer/dryer, but every floor has its own laundry room.
The unit faces away from the street, so there’s no street noise. It also has a 75-square-foot lanai, which can be enclosed.
