Finally, Success!

Whenever the states get ranked, we brace ourselves to see if Hawai‘i ranks near the bottom on whatever is being measured. After all, it’s where we often find the Islands in rankings of public school quality, road maintenance, affordability, etc.

The good news? Hawai‘i has just popped into the Top 20 in a ranking of 54 U.S. states and territories.

The bad news? It’s a ranking of convicted public officials per million residents, per year, marking Hawai‘i as somewhat more corrupt than your average state.
