Boos, Barks & A Birthday Bash Canine Costume Contest

Oct. 6

 

Aloha Home Market and Hawai‘i Pet Beat co-host the Boos, Barks & A Birthday Bash Canine Costume Contest on Oct. 6 to celebrate the birthday of 102.7 Da Bomb’s mascot Baxter’s birthday.

Howl-O-Ween Doggie Costume Contest at Royal Hawaiian Center

Oct. 1 to 15, costume contest entry period

Oct. 20, parade check-in starts at 2 p.m., parade starts at 3 p.m.

 

Hawai‘i Doggie Bakery and Royal Hawaiian Center have teamed up on another spook-tacular Howl-O-Ween Doggie Costume Contest. From Oct. 1 to 15, post a photo of your costumed pup on Instagram using the hashtag #RHCHowl. The top 25 contestants will be invited to strut their fluff in the center’s Howl-O-Ween Woof-Tacular Doggie Parade during which they’ll compete for Royal Hawaiian Center gift cards and other prizes.

The Public Pet’s Bow Down Witches Photo Contest 

Oct. 23 to 31, entry period

Winner announced the following week

 

Win goblin’ good treats for you and your fur baby by entering The Public Pet’s Bow Down Witches Photo Contest on Instagram. The pup with the best overall costume will score a prize package (valued at more than $750) loaded with goodies from The Public Pet, Sheila Chen Art, Popoki + Tea, Hawai‘i Pet Portraits, Raw Dog Hawai‘i, Pia and Michio, and Mexican Coconut. From Oct. 23 to 31, post a pic of your pet in costume (your profile must be public) tagged with #bowdownwitchescontest. Follow the Insta accounts of the participating companies and tag a friend in the comments suggesting what you’d like to see them dressed up as.

Canine Costume Contest at Pearlridge Center

Oct. 26, sign-up from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hawai‘i Pet Beat table, contest starts at 1 p.m.

 

Hawai‘i Pet Beat hosts its annual Canine Costume Contest on Oct. 26 at Pearlridge Center. Doggos can compete for prizes and participate in fun activities, and there will pop-up shopping booths for their hoomans to peruse.

Dress your pets in devilishly good looks and take them down to Salt Lake Shopping Center’s Pet Costume Contest on Oct. 26. First, second and third place winners will be awarded with wicked-cool prizes.

Cat Fanciers of Hawai‘i’s Halloween Cat Costume Contest

Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Dressing up your kitty as an adorable Feline Dion or Justin Tim-purr-lake? Enter them in Cat Fanciers of Hawaii's Halloween Cat Costume Contest happening on Oct. 27 to win fur-tastic prizes. You can also shop the event’s Cat Bazaar, offering unique and handcrafted pet items.
